Chang and Koong-se were deeply in love and despite Koong-se's betrothal to a wealthy duke, the pair planned to elope. As they scampered over the bridge to escape her father's guards they looked up into the sky and saw the Ryan Air plane soaring overhead and knew without a doubt this was their escape.
