Katie loved Desert Island Discs and her all time favourite episode was Morrissey. She was sad when Kirsty Young stepped down but thought Lauren Laverne was doing a brilliant job. Katie often composed her own DID for the time she’d be successful enough to warrant her own programme and whilst her discs changed constantly (although her take-to-the-island song would always be Heart Of Glass), her luxury remained the same; Sriracha. No matter what she’d be forced to eat on the island, she could douse it with spicy sauce and feel a little bit like Beyoncé.
