Katy had learned to skate at such a young age that she has earned the nickname ‘Skaty Katy’ and won’t answer to anything else (except when she’s in trouble and her Mum calls her Katherine). She works hard on the family farm, using her trusty skateboard to transport heavy milk churns, baskets of eggs and bales of hay around the estate. And when she isn’t working, she can be found practicing for the village talent show where she intends to wow the locals with her myriad of skateboard tricks, hopefully netting her first prize of a year’s supply of jam.
