'Foxtons' tells the story of Pedro, whose family had been renting the Old Tower for years but had just been served a notice of eviction from the landlord. He wanted to sell it as a bijou sea-facing pied a terre, perfect for those out-of-towners who wanted a bit of R&R on le weekend. Sadly, Pedro's folks can't afford the asking price of £1.5 mil, so they now face a winter living in their sheep shelter. Happily, Mr Rich, the landlord, has told Pedro he can still graze the sheep in the garden, which is nice.
