Number One Sister
Number One Sister

Sister Maria was a devoted and diligent nun, rising at 4am every morning for prayers, then working hard in the Convent garden all day long, weeding and harvesting veg for the Nuns' dinner. There was no rest for the wicked! So at 4pm sharp every day, Maria stopped for a piping hot cup of builders tea, (served in her favourite mug) and always with a couple of Custard Creams on the side. She felt no guilt whatsoever because if God had not intended her to have tea and Custard Creams, He wouldn't have invented them. That was her story and she was sticking to it!
